The idea of being a professional writer has always intrigued me. If I were to ever create my own “bucket list” of sorts, there’s little doubt that writing a book, or becoming a published author would find itself somewhere on the list… and more then likely, somewhere in the top 10. There is a lot of hype out there about creating online products, such as ebooks or video guides. The big advantage of selling something online that is also delivered online (an ebook which customers instantly download for example) is that you don’t have to deal with stock, postage, returns etc. However because its relatively easy to get started and the entry costs are very low, its become a very crowded and competitive market place and it can be difficult to get noticed (read our blog post on creating an ebook or online product here).
